About us:
Mission:
- Advance the understanding of how the system produce and control movements from a biomechanics, clinical and neuroscience perspective by bringing together scientists and clinicians of diverse backgrounds, by facilitating the integration of research directed at all levels of academic and clinical organization.
- Provide professional development activities, information, and educational resources for clinicians and academics at all stages of their careers.
- Promote public information and general education about the nature of scientific discovery and the results and implications of the latest clinical, biomechanics and neuroscience research. Support active and continuing discussions on ethical issues relating to the conduct and outcomes of applied research.
Our beginnings: The Chilean Association of Movement Sciences (ACCM) was founded in Santiago, Chile on October 2015 to promote the study of all areas related with biomechanics, neuroscience, motor control and rehabilitation.
